Departments

Upper Makefield Township government is divided into 5 main departments, including Administration, Finance, Building & Code Enforcement, Public Works, and Police.

Administration Department

Stephanie Teoli, Township Manager

Hired by the Board of Supervisors, Township Manager Stephanie Teoli keeps Upper Makefield Township running. She oversees each of the township departments, manages community relations, keeps the supervisors informed, creates the township budget, and much more.

Finance Department

The finance department manages the township budget and daily finances.

Planning and Zoning

From new development to home improvements, the Planning and Zoning Department manages permit & zoning applications, and ensures completed work is done to code – keeping our homes and businesses safe and environmentally sound.

The crew you’re most likely to see is the Public Works Department. They keep roads clear & drivable and are responsible for upkeep of township property.
