John graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering management. John was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army and served on active duty for 6 years, including assignments in Germany, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. John left the army with the rank of Captain.

John has many years of professional experience in sales and operation management roles in telecommunications, insurance, and food service. In 2008, he launched a new business to promote his vision for the youth of tomorrow and the future leaders of America. His academic coaching & college counseling business is located in Newtown, PA.

John is very active in community service. He is president of the Upper Makefield Business Association. Additionally, John has served as the co-chair for the 2008 and 2009 Bucks County March for Babies, is a board member for the West Point Society of Lehigh Valley, serves as a Military Academy Liaison Officer for West Point, and volunteers with the German Shorthair Pointer Rescue of PA.

John has lived in Upper Makefield Township since 2000 with his wife, Catherine and 2 children, John and Laura.
