Upper Makefield Township

Chairman of the Board David Kulig Resigns, May 19

Chairman of the Board David Kulig announced his resignation, effective immediately, at the Board of Supervisors meeting on May 19.

“It’s been a distinct pleasure to serve on the planning commission and now the board of supervisors,” says Kulig. “I have been surrounded – especially on this board – with extremely good and honorable people who have the best interests of the township in their minds and hearts.”

Supervisor Bud Baldwin, who worked with Kulig on the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission, spoke about how much of a loss this news is for the Township, and said, “David, I thank you for your contribution and for your friendship – I know the community is very appreciative for all the things you have done for this municipality.”

Now Accepting Letters of Interest
The Board of Supervisors will accept Letters of Interest until 12 noon on June 9 from residents wishing to be considered to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Kulig’s resignation.
