In 2007, Upper Makefield Township made a commitment to the Pennsylvania Clean Energy Communities Campaign. Residents responded, and now with more than 7% of residents signed up, Upper Makefield is officially a Clean Energy Community and has received a free 1kW solar energy system, which was installed at the Brownsburg Park Pavilion. We’re still going strong and we encourage more residents and businesses to commit to Clean Energy.
When you sign up for clean energy, you will help create cleaner air, a healthier community, and energy independence. Find out more by calling PA Clean Energy Communities at 215-574-5845.
